Recognizing Mental Health Issues
Mental health problems are more common than many people realize. It's important to be aware of the signs and seek support if you or someone you know is experiencing any of the following:
Emotional Symptoms:
- Persistent feelings of worry, depression, guilt, worthlessness, or an exaggerated sense of being "high."
Behavioral Changes:
- Noticeable changes in sleep patterns, weight, personal hygiene, or activity levels at school or work.
- Extreme mood swings, anger, hostility, or violent behavior.
Thoughts or Statements:
- Expressions of thoughts about suicide or harming others.
If you recognize these signs, it's crucial to discuss them with a healthcare provider. We encourage you to schedule an appointment with your primary care provider to address these concerns. At Kittson Healthcare, we are here to support you through mental health challenges and ensure you receive the care you need.
