Kittson Healthcare has a licensed 50 bed nursing home. The nursing home is staffed with nurses and certified nursing assistants to provide professional, quality care. So many of our residents are community members that we have grown up with through the years and it is our privilege and honor to care for your loved ones in their final years.
We offer skilled nursing services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, specified diets, and a host of activities. Our residents can also enjoy a cozy family room with library, an outdoor patio, various wildlife, a whirlpool tub, and a low staff to resident ratio. In addition, there is a beauty shop onsite, for residents, available by appointment.
Our goal is to provide patient-centered care specific to each resident of our nursing home.
The Minnesota Department of Health requires Nursing Homes to disclose to our consumers what training we provide to our staff who serve person’s with Alzheimer’s or related disorders (whether or not in a separate unit).

- Problem solving with challenging behaviors
- Communication Skills
We utilize a computer learning program, Healthcare Source/Symplr, which is required to be completed annually by all direct care employees.
