Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Gabriel Mooney has experience working in healthcare, particularly in the area of management of Critical Access Hospitals and is familiar with positives of rural healthcare systems as well as the challenges these systems face. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from North Dakota State University and a Masters of Science in Administration with a Specialization in Health Services from the University of South Dakota where he graduated with Honors. He has completed a number of certifications and has won a number of awards for his work in healthcare. Gabriel is an active member of his community, local church, and school system. He resides in Greenbush, MN with his wife and children.
Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer
Jeni received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN. She has been working as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in healthcare since 2002 and joined our team full-time in April 2019. She resides in the Kennedy area with her husband and son. In her leisure time she loves to travel, spend time at the lake, and enjoys time at home with family. She is a current member of the Kittson County Literacy Council and an active member of Red River Lutheran Church. Jeni was a 2010-2011 Red River Valley Emerging Leader (alongside her husband), 2017-2019 Red River Lutheran Church Sunday School Superintendent, past Red River Council member and Red River Financial Secretary for 10 years.
Nursing Home Administrator, Director of Family Health
Cindy began her career at Kittson Memorial in 1982 as a hospital nurse. In August, 1982, Cindy accepted a position with Kittson Community Health Services as a home health/public health nurse. Cindy continued in home health for the next 32 years becoming the director in 2002, and taking on the supervision of River’s Edge Assisted Living in 2007, before accepting the position of CEO in 2014. Cindy currently holds the position of Nursing Home Administrator and Director of Public Health for Kittson County.
Cindy received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. Cindy is also licensed as a long term care administrator and over sees the 60 bed facility at Kittson Healthcare. Cindy is active in the community as she serves on the Kennedy City Council, the Kittson County Hospice Board, the Violence Intervention Project Board of Directors in Thief River Falls, MN and is an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hallock. In her free time, Cindy enjoys travel, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
Director of Nursing and Administrator of Hospital Services
Tawnya’s career spans over 41 years of serving Kittson County in Minnesota. She started her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, and then a Registered Nurse. Tawnya has worked in Long Term Care and all other areas of the hospital including Emergency Room, Obstetrics, Operating Room and Medical/Surgical. She holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Comprehensive Advanced Life Support, and FEMA Incident Command.
Tawnya’s passions are caring for others with safe, competent, and compassionate care. Tawnya and her husband Todd live in rural Hallock, MN. She is a member of Grace Lutheran Church and volunteers with Kittson County Hospice as a Care Coordinator. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and most outdoor activities.
